How Job Section “Q&A” Works

MY Freelancer is a freelancing site that strives to provide an open and transparent platform for both employers and freelancers. Every job posted on Freelancer has a public Q&A board, where freelancers can ask questions directly to the employer to seek clarification regarding the job. This helps to ensure that both parties are on the same page regarding the project requirements and expectations.

To access the Q&A for a specific job, simply

  • Go to the “Hire” tab, select the job you’re interested in, and click on the “Job Post” tab.
  • You’ll be able to scroll down and access the Job Q&A section.
  • Please note that only users with paid memberships can post questions, but all freelancers on My Freelancer can view the Q&A.

How Typically Q&A section works on MY Freelancer?

Q&A sessions on freelancer typically involve clients posting questions about their project or general questions about the platform, and freelancers providing answers.

Here’s how it usually works:

  • Clients can post their questions on the Q&A section of the freelancing site. The questions can range from clarifications about the project requirements, how to use the platform, or any other related questions.
  • Freelancers who are interested in the project or have the knowledge to answer the question can view the question and provide an answer.
  • The client can review the answers and choose the best one that meets their requirements.
  • The freelancer who provided the chosen answer may then be contacted by the client for further discussions or to potentially hire them for the project.

It’s important to note that Q&A sessions on freelancing sites are not always used in every project. They are typically used for larger or more complex projects where the client needs more clarification or when there are platform-related questions.

 Why MYFreelancer Provides Q&A feature?  

We encourage all employers to use the Q&A feature to provide relevant information to freelancers. However, we do have guidelines in place to ensure that the Q&A section remains professional and respectful. Please refrain from making any derogatory or sarcastic remarks, sharing links that encourage direct hiring, or sharing your contact information. Any comments that don’t follow these guidelines will be edited or removed, and a notification will be sent when your first comment is removed. If you fail to comply with the guidelines three times, you will forfeit your ability to post comments.

At MY Freelancer, we believe that open communication is key to successful freelancing relationships. By using the Q&A feature, employers can provide valuable information to freelancers, and freelancers can ask questions to ensure that they have a clear understanding of the job requirements.

This may occur if we find that you have violated our guidelines or engaged in behavior that is not in line with our platform’s values. We take the integrity of our Q&A section seriously and will take appropriate measures to ensure that it remains a professional and respectful space for all users.
